The premise of the TV series Lethal Weapon is similar to the film franchise starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) is a cop who moves to Los Angeles after losing his wife and child. His new partner is Detecitve Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) who recently return to work after a having a heart attack. When their personalities clash, it’s usually their boss, Captain Brooks Avery who has to hear about it.
Captain Brooks Avery is portrayed by Kevin Rahm. He’s known for his roles on Madam Secretary (“Mike B”), Bates Motel (Bob Paris), Mad Men (Ted Chaough), Desperate Husewives (Lee McDermott), and Judging Amy (Kyle McCarty), among others. Rahm is also recognized for his in the films Nightcrawler (Frank Kruse) and Alfie (Terry). Lethal Weapon airs Wednesdays at 8pm on FOX.
