In the new MacGyver TV series, Angus “Mac” MacGyver is portrayed by 26-year-old actor Lucas Till. MacGyver doesn’t design and detonate explosives made of dental floss and a book of matches anymore. This time around, MacGyver is an agent working with the clandestine U.S. Department of External Services and he has a partner — former CIA agent Jack Dalton. In the series premiere, they work together to find missing bioweapons.
Agent Jack Dalton is portrayed by George Eads. He’s best known for his role as forensic investigator Nick Stokes on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Fun fact about Eads: He played daredevil Evel Knievel in the 2004 TV movie Evel Knievel with Jaime Pressly. MacGyver airs Fridays at 8pm on CBS.
