In the 2015 TV movie Stalked by My Doctor, Academy Award-winning actor Eric Roberts (Runaway Train, The Pope of Greenwich Village, The Coca-Cola Kid, Star 80) played Dr. Beck. After saving the life of a beautiful teenage girl named Sophie (Brianna Chomer), he became obsessed with her while she recovered in the hospital. After kidnapping her and faking her death, among other things, Dr. Beck fled the country before getting caught.
The 2016 sequel, Stalked by My Doctor: The Return, begins in Mexico where Dr. Beck saves another beautiful teenage girl, Amy (Claire Blackwelder), from drowning. This time, the doctor has a more elaborate and devious plan. He returns to the States to “check in” on his patient Amy. To get closer to her, he woos Amy’s mother Linda, marries her and then plots to kill her. Stalked by My Doctor: The Return premieres on Lifetime on Monday, September 5 at 8pm.
