Sunday Night Slow Jams is a radio show that specializes in love-song dedications. It first hit the air waves in 1994. Produced by San Diego DJ R Dub, Sunday Night Slow Jams expanded in 2003 – it aired on three stations (two in Arizona and one in Oklahoma). In 2013, R Dub pitched his syndicated radio show business on Shark Tank. He brought in his friend, 16-time Grammy-nominated R&B singer Brian McKnight to woo the Sharks with a serenade — but R Dub didn’t leave with a deal.
