In the BrainDead episode “Wake Up Grassroots: The Nine Virtues of Participatory Democracy, and How We Can Keep America Great,” while Senator Luke Healy (Danny Pino) makes a clandestine deal with Republicans, his sister/aide Laurel (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Rochelle (Nikki James) turn to Laurel’s friend Abby Summers to help them figure out exactly what’s behind the prevalent weird behavior on Capitol Hill.
Abby is portrayed by Brooke Bloom. She’s known for her roles on Alpha House (Julie Carrell), CSI: Miami (Cynthia Wells), in the 2011 film Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (Astrid Black), and the 2014 film She’s Lost Control (she stars sexual surrogate Ronah), among others. BrainDead airs Mondays at 10pm on CBS.
