In the Season 2 premiere of Mr. Robot, “eps2.0_unm4sk-pt1.tc; eps2.0_unm4sk-pt2.tc,” Elliot (Rami Malek) finds himself in seclusion days after the big hack. He’s got a lot to deal with. As actor Malek says of Elliot this season: “He has to come to grips with the fact that he has a very drastic psychological problem.” While Elliot takes untraditional steps in dealing with his problems, he meets up with his old neighborhood friend Leon.
Leon is portrayed by Joey Bada$$. Born Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, the 21-year-old is best known as a hip hop recording artist. He released his first mixtape 1999 in 2012. His debut studio album B4.DA.$$ was released in January 2015. Since then he’s performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Mr. Robot airs Wednesdays at 10pm on USA Network.
