In the Lifetime TV movie Center Stage: On Pointe, the director of the American Ballet Company, Jonathan Reeves, is tasked with incorporating more contemporary dance into the performances of the Company. So he and his choreographers host an audition at a camp, the American Ballet Academy, where they discover Bella Parker (Nicole Muñoz), little sister of ballerina Kate from the 2008 TV movie, Center Stage: Turn It Up.
Jonathan Reeves is portrayed by Peter Gallagher. He’s known for his roles on Law & Order: SVU (Deputy Chief William Dodds), New Girl (Gavin), Covert Affairs (Arthur Campbell), Californication (Dean Stacy Koons), and The O.C. (Sandy Cohen), among others. Gallagher is also recognized for his roles in the films American Beauty (Buddy Kane), Mr. Deeds (Chuck Cedar), While You Were Sleeping (Peter), and Sex, Lies and Videotape (John Mullany), among others. Center Stage: On Pointe premieres on Lifetime on June 25 at 8pm.
