On the Braxton Family Values episode “Toni Got a Ditty!,” the seven-time Grammy Award-winning singer is called out for being a prude. Her sisters say she dresses like a pilgrim and doesn’t know how to enjoy life. Toni tries to defend herself by reminding everyone that she’s taking swimming lessons and is traveling more (outside of work). Toni recently proved she’s not a prude by wearing a sheer black leotard/gown to the BET Awards (June 26) with her new date, rapper Birdman.
Toni and Birdman, the co-owner of Cash Money Records, have been friends for years. They sang the duet “Baby You Can Do It” together in 1992. The 47-year-old from New Orleans says he sleeps on a million in cash, literally, under his sheets. If Toni starts complaining about lumps while she’s sleeping, they won’t be calling her a prude anymore. Braxton Family Values airs Thursdays at 9pm on WEtv.
