Tim Talley is the entrepreneur behind U-Lace, a line of stylish tie-less laces for sneakers. With the inserts, wearers can mix and match and make fun designs with the laces. And they never need to be tied. Talley pitched his product on Shark Tank in 2014 and agreed to a $200,000 investment from Mark Cuban for 35 percent of the company.

Since Shark Tank, U-Lace continues to expand its product line. The latest addition is U-Locks Words. A pair of platinum words like “I Love” and “Kicks” and “snkr” and “head” slip over U-Laces to give the laces even more kick. Just like the laces, the words can be mixed and matched. U-Lace is sold on the company website and Amazon (see above).
