On the Chrisley Knows Best episode “Smoothie Operator,” Todd Chrisley and his family prepare to open a juice bar in their Tennessee town. His wife Julie and daughter Savannah are pulling their weight, getting the interior of the store ready for the grand opening. But as Todd says, his son Chase “is being a slack ass, doing the bare minimum.” Chrisley decides to lead by example.
To help drive traffic to the store’s grand opening, Todd and son Chase dress up in banana and strawberry costumes and hit the streets. “It’s either this and put him [Chase] on the streets or let him stand there and spray everyone with that hose,” Todd explains to his family. While holding signs on a major road, Chase complains that he’s cold and then that their costumes “suck.” Chase says, “I should be wearing a thong or something.” Todd threatens his son: “If you don’t change your attitude, Savannah’s going to inherit everything.” Chrisley Knows Best airs Tuesdays at 10pm on USA.
