On Season 6 of Shark Tank, entrepreneur Neal Hoffman pitched his plush toy, Mensch on a Bench. He got a deal with investors Lori Greiner and Robert Herjavec. The plush toy comes with a book which helps families celebrate Hanukkah. The Mensch has been compared to the Elf on the Shelf — a “magical” toy that moves around a house during the holidays.

On Beyond the Tank, Greiner and Herjavec check-in with Hoffman and voice their concerns about his expansion ideas. He’s got a lot of them including his latest book, “AfikoMensch,” a story of how Mensch helps kids find the hidden Matzah. (Afiko is a half-piece of matzah which is broken in two during the Passover Seder and set aside to be eaten as a dessert after the meal.) But with too many products under the Mensch umbrella, Hoffman runs the risk of diluting the brand. Note: Some of his best ideas are jokes which he posts every April’s Fool Day. See the Mensch on a Bench Passover Pants below. Beyond the Tank airs Fridays at 8pm on ABC.
