In the NCIS: Los Angeles episode “Where There’s Smoke…,” Agents Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) and G. Callen (Chris O’Donnell) go undercover as firefighters. It’s a five-alarm case that involves arson, murder and espionage. Top secret information about suspected terrorists has been stolen from a Department of Defense container at the site of the fire. The team will work with Navy Commander Susan Yelton.
Susan Yelton is portrayed by JoNell Kennedy. She’s known for her roles on Criminal Minds (Sgt. Lynne Johnson), NCIS (Navy Commander Lisa Cleveland), and The Mentalist (Coroner Pat), among others. Kennedy is also recognized for her roles in the movies Dreamgirls (Joann), Me and You and Everyone We Know (Pam), and Guess Who (Winnie). NCIS: Los Angeles airs Mondays at 10pm on CBS.
