In the Once Upon a Time episode “Ruby Slippers,” in flashbacks, Ruby (guest star Meghan Ory) and Mulan are in Oz where they meet Dorothy (guest star Teri Reeves). When Zelena (Rebecca Mader) returns to Oz, the three plot to defeat her once and for all. But then Dorothy mysteriously disappears. Their search for Ruby leads them to the Underworld. [Note: Last time we saw Mulan, she and Red returned to help Merida (Amy Manson) uncover the truth about her father’s death.]
Mulan is portrayed by Jamie Chung. She’s known for her roles in the films Big Hero 6 (Go Go), Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (Miho), The Hangover movies (Lauren), and Adam Sandler’s Grown Ups (Amber Hilliard), among others. Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC.
