On The Real Housewives of New York City episode “An Intimates Affair,” Dorinda Medley throws a lingerie party. When Bethenny Frankel starts to talk about Dorinda’s boyfriend John, Dorinda gets pissed. (Last season, Kristen Taekman complained about John being too touchy feely at a party while Kristen was grinding up against him.)
At the lingerie party, Bethenny Frankel accuses Dorinda of selling John to the ladies which Dorinda flatly denies. Bethenny goes on to complain about John pitching a business idea to Bethenny in her house in the Hamptons. (If Bethenny was so offended why didn’t she tell John to screw off right then and there?) Even Ramona Singer, Dorinda’s friend of 20 years, who’s never said anything before about John to Dorinda chimes in. The only one who doesn’t get on Dorinda’s case is the new girl, Jules Wainstein, who says, “You don’t challenge the hostess of a party.” Carole Radziwill says “She [Dorinda] doesn’t need to do that [“sell” John], but she does seem a little practiced at it.” Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
