In the Gotham episode “Wrath of the Villains: Mad Grey Dawn,” Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Bullock (Donal Logue) follow dubious clues while investigating a museum robbery. Meanwhile, while Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) finally meets his father Elijah Van Dahl, who welcomes him to the family with open arms.
Elijah Van Dahl is portrayed by Paul Reubens, who also played Penguin’s father in the 1992 film Batman Returns with Michael Keaton, Michelle Pfeiffer and Danny DeVito as Penguin. Reubens is known for his character Pee-Wee Herman, and his most recent recurring role as Mr. Vargas on The Blacklist. Reubens is currently working on a HBO project titled Mosaic with Steven Soderberg and Sharon Stone. Gotham airs Mondays at 8pm on FOX.
