In the When Calls the Heart episode “Forever in My Heart,” while Jack (Daniel Lissing) plans a future with Elizabeth (Erin Krakow), young Becky (Ali Skovbye) returns to Abigail’s (Lori Loughlin) for some serious TLC. Becky, who is escorted to Abigail’s by the young and handsome Dr. Burns, is welcomed home by Abigail and her little brother Cody (Carter Ryan Evancic) with open arms.
Dr. Burns is portrayed by Jason Cermak. The Canadian-born actor has appeared on Heartland (Chad), Once Upon a Time (as a Black Knight), Psych (Morrison), Supernatural (Percent), and Hell on Wheels (McGuire), among others. Fun fact about Cermak: He was inspired to become an actor after meeting Matt Damon on the set of The Bourne Identity in 2000. When Calls the Heart airs Sundays at 9pm on Hallmark.
