It’s Battle Round on Season 10 of The Voice. The coaches get to choose a mentor for their artists to work with. Country star Blake Shelton choose his former fellow coach, and now girlfriend, Gwen Stefani to work with Team Blake. Here are the 4 reasons he says he invited Gwen back to the show as a mentor:
- She’s “a rock ‘n roll goddess diva living legend.”
- She understands what a battle round is from being a coach on The Voice
- He doesn’t know how to mentor non-country singers.
- Gwen “brings a different perspective to this thing than I do as a coach”
The other mentors are equally luminous music industry big shots. Sean “Diddy” Combs is advising Team Pharrell, Tori Kelly will work with Team Adam and Miss Patti LaBelle is working with Team Xtina. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
