In The X-Files episode ‘Home Again’, when not investigating the murder of a city official with Mulder, Scully’s deeply emotional feelings about the child she gave up for adoption lead her to a conversation with her mother, Margaret Scully.
Margaret Scully is portrayed by Sheila Larken. The veteran actress has appeared on many classic TV shows over the decades including Bonanza, Marcus Welby, M.D. Starsky and Hutch, Barnaby Jones, Dallas, and Baretta. Larkin hasn’t appeared on TV since the final season of The X-Files in 2002. Fun fact: Larken is married to The X-Files executive producer R.W. Goodwin. The X-Files airs Mondays at 8pm on FOX.
