You may not know the name Renato Bialetti, but you surely know his work. Bialetti — who died last week aged 93 — is the man who designed the classic look for the Moka coffee pot. Over 300 million of the stovetop pots have sold worldwide. That’s a lot of coffee makers.

Having given the world an iconic design, Bialetti has given us one last gift on his deathbed: the chance to make ridiculous memes out of his funeral. In accordance with his wishes, the designer’s ashes were interred in an urn shaped like a giant Moka pot. You can watch a video of his funeral here, after which no doubt you’ll want to sip un caffè in Bialetti’s honor, before brushing up your Photoshop skills.
