The Rap Game is a new reality TV show on Lifetime produced by Queen Latifah and Jermaine Dupri. Dupri mentors five young, aspiring rappers in Atlanta. It’s an eight-week boot camp where all five kids (the youngest is 12, the oldest 17) are competing for a record contract with Dupri’s So So Def Recordings. In the season premiere, they get to meet T.I. and perform for Da Brat and Bryan-Michael Cox.

One of the five contestants is Miss Mulatto. The biracial 17-year-old from Atlanta (her father is black, her mother is white) started singing at birthday parties and is now competing in the Atlanta music scene. She recently got top billing at The Breaking the Chains Teen Summit (an anti-teen pregnancy and STD event) and won a Georgia Music Awards in the Hip Hop/R&B Youth category. The Rap Game airs Fridays at 10pm on Lifetime.
