On The Blacklist episode “The Vehm,” Liz (Megan Boone) is pregnant, Tom (Ryan Eggold) gets a dog, and Red (James Spader) goes to church. That should be enough for Blacklist fans to tune in — but of course there’s more drama involved in the episode. When an autopsy reveals that a rare medieval device was used in a murder, it sends a red flag to Red. He warns the task force that “a lethal vigilante group from the Middle Ages is now in operation.” A man named Harris Holt is involved.
Harris Holt is portrayed by Anthony Carrigan. He’s best known for his roles on Gotham (Victor Zsasz), The Flash (Kyle Nimbus aka The Mist), Parenthood (Cory Smith), and The Forgotten (Tyler Davies). Notable fact: Carrigan has had alopecia areata since he was 3. It’s a condition that causes the loss of his hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes. (The late, great director Mike Nichols had it, too.) The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 9pm on NBC.
