Dr. Edna Ma is a Los Angeles anesthesiologist who knows pain and how to keep it to a minimum. She spent three years working on her topical numbing cream designed for bikini waxes, before she pitched her product, Bare Ease, on Shark Tank. When it came time to talk numbers, Dr. Edna admitted that sales were low. Many of Sharks believe sales were low due to the fact that she was keeping her other job. She wasn’t working on Bare Ease full-time. (They might have been surprised to learn that Dr. Ma found time to appear on Survivor: South Pacific, too.)

Dr. Edna walked out of the Shark Tank without a deal but she continues to sell Bare Ease and Numbe Nuts (for men) on her website (0.5oz for $9.50) and on Amazon
