The Hallmark Channel will broadcast a two-hour When Call the Heart holiday special titled “New Year’s Wish.” The whole town of Hope Valley gathers for a fireworks display including Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow) and Constable Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing) who are making a fresh start. But the saying “Out with the old, in with the new” won’t apply to all characters on Season 3. Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) get a visit from his current but estranged wife, Nora.
Nora is portrayed by Kristina Wagner, actual ex-wife of Jack Wagner. Kristina is best known for her role as Felicia Scorpio on General Hospital. On GH, Felicia was married to Jack Wagner’s character Frisco Jones, too. Kristina admitted to ABC Soaps In Depth that it was difficult to “separate the Frisco and Felicia connection” on the set of When Call the Heart. The New Year’s When Calls the Heart episode will air on Hallmark on December 26 at 8pm. Season 3 will resume in February 2016.
