In the TV movie Deadly Daycare, a financially strapped young mother named Rachel goes back to work. She leaves her four-year-old daughter Mia at a local daycare center with a woman named Gabby (Christy Carlson Romano). Turns out Gabby recognizes Rachel from a car crash that she and her husband were in years ago. Gabby lost her baby in that accident, and now she wants Mia (whom Gabby thinks is really her daughter).
Rachel is portrayed by Kayla Ewell. The 30-year-old actress is best known for her roles on The Vampire Diaries (Vicki Donovan), Entourage (Amy), The Bold and the Beautiful (Caitlin Ramirez), and Freaks and Geeks (Maureen Sampson). Fun fact about Ewell: on September 12, 2015, Ewell married actor Tanner Novian. Deadly Daycare will air on LMN on December 26 at 8pm.
