On the Bones two-hour back-to-back season finale episodes “The Cowboy in the Contest” and “The Doom in the Boom,” Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) go undercover as cowboys at an Old West-theme shooting competition. There are several potential suspects who come from several different states so it won’t be easy for Brennan and Booth to figure things out on their own…even with Aubrey (John Boyd) along. In the second episode, we meet Leslie Green, a behavioral analyst who on the surface seems flaky but proves to be quite helpful to the team and the investigation. (She might remind The Good Wife fans of lawyer Elsbeth Tascioni, portrayed by Carrie Preston.)

Leslie Green is portrayed by Sara Rue. It’s going to be tough for Rue fans to decide which show to watch her on on December 10. At 9pm she’ll also appear on Mom as Baxter’s new girlfriend Candace. Rue is best known for her TV roles on Less Than Perfect, Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory (Dr. Stephanie Barnett), Rules Of Engagement (Brenda), and most recently Impastor. Bones airs Thursdays at 8pm on Fox.
