Gossip world is full of news that rapper Rick Ross and his beloved (and betrothed), model Lira Galore, are kaput. Galore is a model-actress who seems all business on social media, where she is mostly pictured in some version of a swimsuit. By “all business” we mean she dispenses with those common niceties like descriptions on Instagram and Twitter. Where others may say “I’m so and so, and I believe in pills and God and pizza,” Galore (aka Lira Mercer) just puts this out there instead: “For booking contact: [email protected].” There’s a phone number too — talk about direct marketing.
With such a direct approach to her brand, it’s no surprise Lira’s got more followers on Instagram (2.3 million) than on Twitter (134K). Or maybe it’s that Instagram is the visual medium and nothing’s more direct than a picture. Lira Galore tends to connect well visually (reminder: swimsuits). If it turns out you do want to book Lira, you can get a strong impression of what she delivers in the new Rick Ross “Sorry” video trailer. Speaking of “all business,” Ross — who’s had five #1 albums in the last decade — has his new album Black Market due to drop soon (December). If we were cynical the breakup rumors might sound like a little extra publicity.
