When newbie Shamea Morton throws shade at Kenya Moore by calling her Miss America, Kenya reacts by asking the captain to escort Shamea off the boat. On land, Kim Fields has a breakdown of her own. While visiting Phaedra Parks, Kim admits that she doesn’t have a girlfriend to confide in nor does she make time for herself to get her nails and hair done. Phaedra just can’t believe it. She’s a mother of two, too, but she gets her nails done every week. Curious about how a woman can go without such indulgences, Phaedra asks Kim: “What makes Kim wake up and say, ooh, I can’t wait to do x?” Kim realizes she’s lost herself in her role as wife and mother. A weepy Kim answers, “go to carpool.” Kim follows that up with “make lunch.” Supermom Phaedra — the celebrity lawyer turned fitness video producer turned funeral director — does not approve. While wiping Kim’s tears away, Phaedra offers to help: “Girl,” she tells Kim, “we gotta get you some hobbies, besides this husband and mommy stuff.” Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8pm on Bravo.
