In the Quantico episode “Guilty,” the NATS attend a class with guest speaker Dr. Susan Langdon. The former agent and profiler gets the team to study serial killer cases in order to find a victim who doesn’t fit the case. When Simon Asher (Tate Ellington) displays his knack for finding things that don’t belong, “it’s his life that becomes endangered.”
Dr. Susan Langdon is portrayed by Anne Heche. She’s best known for her roles on Dig (Lynn Monahan), The Michael J. Fox Show (Susan Rodriguez-Jones), Save Me (Beth Harper), Hung (Jessica Haxon), Men in Trees (Marin Frist), Everwood (Amanda Hayes), and Ally McBeal (Melanie West). Heche is also recognized for her roles in the films Donnie Brasco (opposite Johnny Depp), Wag The Dog (opposite Dustin Hoffman), and Six Days, Seven Nights (opposite Harrison Ford). Heche is also known as the woman Ellen DeGeneres was dating when DeGeneres came out of the closet on national TV via her popular sitcom Ellen. Quantico airs Sundays at 10pm on ABC.
[Bonus: Heche’s late sister Susan Bergman wrote a book about their father’s long-closested life titled Anonymity: The Secret Life of an American Family. Seven years later, Heche wrote her memoir, Call Me Crazy.]
