As the owner of SUR, the restaurant setting of the reality TV show Vanderpump Rules, Lisa Vanderpump is the boss. On the show, she also plays a number of other roles including Mother Hen and Guidance Counselor. In Season 4, she’s taking on a new role — Captain Obvious.

When Lisa Vanderpump hears something break while Jax Taylor is tending bar, she says, “Somethings going on and I don’t like it. I smell trouble.” When she learns about Scheana Marie‘s husband Mike Shay drinking too much and admitting to taking pills, Vanderpump announces: “He [Mike] needs to get clean. He needs to take responsibility that he married this girl and he needs to get his s—t together.” Then again, addiction problems are usually only solved when someone points out what’s obvious to everybody else. Vanderpump Rules is back on Mondays at 9pm on Bravo.
