Two college students at Utah Valley University, Dallas Robinson and Mike Bounomo, came up with the idea of KissTixx. It’s a line of flavored kissing lip balms. When they pitched their business/product on Shark Tank, they got Kevin O’Leary and Barbara Corcoran to kiss. It was a memorable moment, whether you liked to watch it or not. Those sharks didn’t invest but Mark Cuban did ($200k for 40 percent).
All five flavors of KissTixx – Fire & Ice, Strawberry & Chocolate, Strawberry Daiquiri & Pina Colada, Raspberry & Lemonade, and Sweet & Sour — are now sold in Walgreens, Kmart, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and a number of grocery chain stores. Or you can order a package of two online at Amazon
