If you think having celeb chef Paula Deen on live TV is a time bomb waiting to explode, then you’re going to love Season 21 of Dancing with the Stars. On Good Morning America, all the celeb contestants were announced including reality TV stars Tamar Braxton (Braxton Family Values), Kim Zolciak-Biermann (Don’t Be Tardy) and the legendary singer Chaka Khan.
When Paula Deen joined the other contestants for a group interview on GMA, she said she hopes to make a bunch of new friends. Across the stage, she points her finger at professional dancer (and winner of last year’s Mirrorball Trophy with Rumer Willis) Val Chmerkovskiy. “I think I know him,” she points at him. “And I think I know him, and them,” she keeps pointing at people. She didn’t use the n-word as she’s done in the past, but it wasn’t comfortable. DWTS professional dancer (and as it turns out, Deen’s partner) Louis Van Amstel shushed Deen. But she kept interrupting everyone. Good luck, Louis! Dancing with the Stars will return Monday, September 14 at 8pm on ABC.
