Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy saw his status upgraded to probable for Monday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs. Lacy was listed as questionable as late as Saturday by the Packers. Lacy sprained his ankle in the Packers’ Sunday night victory over the Seahawks in week two of the NFL season.
The 234-pound running back, when healthy, is critical to the prolific Packers attack, not just running the ball but catching passes too. Lacy is also a very popular fantasy football pick, with one ESPN writer saying he’s the best overall player. “The collective facets of Lacy’s game include the least amount of imperfections,” writes Tristan H. Cockcroft. Because of his fantasy football popularity, Lacy’s injury status is big news not just in Green Bay and Kansas City, but all over the country.
