Samsung will release its Galaxy Note 5 phablet on August 21. It’s being described as a blend of Galaxy S6 and Note 4. The Note 5 has a lot of what Galaxy S6 has including a fast processor with 4GB of RAM, a nice 5.7-inch display, and an amazing 16-megapixel camera. All in a solid metal frame.
Some critics complain that the glass back makes the device “slippery” and “extremely prone to collecting fingerprints.” And, alas, it’s not waterproof. According to PhonesMag, Samsung cannot make any version of Note waterproof due to the S-Pen writing utensil. On that “note,” Samsung reports that it has improved the S-Pen’s pressure sensitivity and performance.
