On Love & Hop Hop Atlanta, Joseline Hernandez performs her single Church at the club S.A.P. in Scottdale, Georgia. It’a a Gayborhood event which draws a decent crowd but there’s one notable person missing — Joseline’s husband Stevie J. She says she’s okay with that. “I don’t need him to see me perform. I’m doing this performance for me,” she says with a ring of defiance. Karlie, who’s there’s to support Joseline, says, “She [Joseline]may not be Beyonce but she puts on a great show.”

During a break in the show, Joseline breaks down in tears. She tells the audience: “I just want to thank everybody. This has been my dream since I was a little girl.” Her fans gave a collective “aww” and applauded. “As a fellow gay, er, bisexual, I just want to commend everybody for being so fearless.” Love & Hip Hop Atlanta airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
