Jeremy Lin, like every other sane person on earth, is scared of Ronda Rousey. Don’t take our word for it. After Rousey’s clinical 34-second destruction of trash-talking Bethe Correia last week, Lin confessed his fear in no uncertain terms, writing simply “I’m scared of Ronda Rousey.”
Im scared of Ronda Rousey…

An embittered Houston Rockets fan took Lin’s funny tweet as an invitation to trash-talk at Lin, tweeting back that Lin wasn’t “scared of 4th quarter turnovers vs the Blazers.” That tweet, talking about a Rockets-Blazers series two seasons ago was about as smart as Bethe Correia’s talking about Ronda Rousey’s suicide. Lin took the bait when he might have ignored it, but his calm tweet back gave some perspective to the troll’s accusation: “also not scared,” wrote Lin, “of scoring half my entire teams points in all the OTs combined in that series.” Another sign Charlotte just signed a cool, collected, ready Jeremy Lin.
