Actress Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy, State of Affairs) stars in the independent film Jenny’s Wedding. She plays Jenny, who leads an openly gay life except with her family. They have no idea that she and her roommate Kitty are romantically involved. So when Jenny announces that she and Kitty are going to get married and start a family, “their relationships become forever changed.”

Jenny’s roommate/lover is portrayed by Alexis Bledel. The 33-year-old is best known for her role as Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls. Bledel more recently appeared on Mad Men (Beth Dawes) and Us & Them (Stacey). Jenny’s Wedding will arrive in theatres July 31 and on video-on-demand August 1.
