There are three hosts on the BattleBots reboot on ABC. There’s Kenny Florian, Chris Rose, and Molly McGrath. McGrath is best known as a sideline reporter for Fox Sports (NFL and NBA) and as the anchor for the nightly sports highlight show America’s Pregame on Fox Sports 1.
Bostonians will recognize her from her pre-Fox career. Molly McGrath was the sideline reporter and in-arena host for the Boston Celtics. Although she grew up in San Francisco (she was a high school cheerleader), she fell in love with Beantown while studying Broadcast Journalism at Boston College. (She graduated in 2011.) Fun facts about McGrath: Her older brother, Pat, played linebacker and defensive end for the Princeton University football team from 2005-2008, and her favorite athletes are Vernon Daivs, David Ortiz and Buster Posey. Battlebots airs Sundays at 9pm on ABC.
