In the Season 4 premiere of Major Crimes, recurring character Lt. Chuck Cooper makes an appearance. He’s trying to nab a killer. The Major Crimes Division of the LAPD is investigating a double homicide related to a series of home invasions in the Hollywood Hills.
Lt. Cooper is portrayed by Malcolm-Jamal Warner. He’s best known for his roles as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, Andre on Community, Sticky on Sons of Anarchy, and Angus T. Jefferson on American Horror Story. He also recently played preacher Hamilton Spears on the Lifetime movie Megachurch Murder but, alas, his character gets killed off in the beginning. Warner is currently working on the new TV series about OJ Simpson, American Crime Story. Warner plays AC Cowlings – OJ’s old football buddy who drove the white Ford Bronco after the murder of OJ’s wife Nicole Brown. Major Crimes airs Mondays at 9pm on TNT.
