Disappointed Cavaliers fans streamed toward the exits long before the final buzzer in Game 4, a 103-82 loss in a game that the Cavs never quite looked prepared to win. Maybe the fans were as tired as everybody on the floor looked, after playing their third game in five days, including a flight from the Bay Area to Cleveland.
Cavs star LeBron James wasn’t disappointed with the fans though. They’ve provided ample support all year and he wasn’t pointing any fingers. James is particularly good at assessing a situation for what it is. Asked afterward if the fans’ leaving early bothered him, James said, “I don’t have no comment about it. I mean, I came out of the game as well early. So, we were on the same page.” That’s how you win a press conference. James left the game for good with more than three minutes on the clock.
