The Jordan Flight Runner 2 is probably the simplest, sleekest of all the Air Jordans. A statement like that will induce some passionate argument, but just look at the Flight Runner 2 — hard to argue it’s not a clean beauty, the early BMW of the bunch. Jordan, of course, loves golf. And Jordan shoes in a variety of prototypes have been seen on the PGA Tour for a while now — most notably on the happy feet of Keegan Bradley.
But the new Jordan Flight Runner Golf shoe is the first offering the public can pick off the shelves — or click on, anyway. (Nike says the new Jordan Flight Runner Golf will be available exclusively Jordan.com.) The Flight Runner Golf dials back some of the more audacious aspects of design that Bradley’s been sporting. This shoe is super-streamlined and athletic looking, a sort of golf shoe breakthrough. It’s easy to imagine tennis players wanting the Flight Runner Golf shoes sans spikes. Of course, they can always go for this.
