A Hello Kitty restaurant will open in Hong Kong on June 1, 2015. The restaurant’s owner Man Kwong told Time magazine that “Hello Kitty is more popular in Hong Kong than in [her native] Japan.”
At the restaurant, 37 items will be offered on the menu including Hell Kitty-shaped dim sum. “Her face will be depicted on dumplings and buns with squid ink, beet root and high-quality flour to make for a playful eating experience.”
