The cool Foamposite from Nike started out with Penny Hardaway in ’97. The innovative molded design has always held sneakerheads in thrall, and Nike always responds to the sneakerhead happiness. So Nike is restocking the “Chromeposite” Nike Air Foamposite One — the must-have hit after this year’s all-star game. But the “Chromeposite” sells out before all but the lucky few can get their hands on it. Every time. It sold out when Nike restocked it in early March and it’s flying again in the latest restock.
The good news? Suede is back. (And suede is cooler than chrome.) The Nike Air Foamposite One Suede — featuring the strange combo of the molded foamposite design with laid back suede — was a hit in black last year. So here comes the Nike Air Foamposite One “Grey Suede.” Release date: July 11.
