On the new crime drama Backstrom, Detective Everett Backstrom (Rainn Wilson) suspects that his former male prostitute tenant, Gregory Valentine, may be more than just a tenant. It has been strongly hinted that Valentine is Backstrom’s son. (Valentine’s mother was a prostitute.)
Valentine is portrayed by Thomas Dekker. He’s best known for his roles as John Connor on the TV series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Zach on Heroes, and Vincent on 7th Heaven. The 27-year-old also has the lucky distinction of being the voice of young Bobby on a number of Seinfeld episodes. Backstrom airs Thursdays at 9pm on Fox.
