On Bones, Brennan and Booth find themselves at a local bakery–but it’s anything but sweet. It’s the crime scene of a gruesome murder. A former convict’s body is found in bits and pieces. It’s not as far-fetched as you think. The altruistic owner of the bakery, Roger Flender, hires ex-cons to work in his kitchen. Ex-con Booth can appreciate that.
The recurring role of baker Roger Flender is portrayed by Jason Gray-Stanford. He’s best known for his roles as Lt. Randy Disher on Monk, Lt. Howard Bowen on Taken, and FBI Agent Adam Thomas on Mistresses. It’ll be nice to see Gray-Stanford with an apron instead of a badge for a change. Bones airs Thursdays at 8pm on Fox.
