Dancing with the Stars celebrity contestant Suzanne Somers admits that learning the dances for the show is very difficult. “It’s very, very frustrating,” said the former sitcom star. During a recent rehearsal with her professional dancer partner Tony Dovolani she told him, “I don’t think I can do it. I don’t think I can stay with the show.” Tony calmly said, “You don’t seem like a quitter to me.” But she is. At the height of Three’s Company popularity in 1980, she demanded a huge salary increase and part ownership of the show. When she was turned down, she would often not show up to work. Her character Chrissy Snow was eventually written out of the show.
Will Somers show up for the next Dancing with the Stars episode? On Monday, April 13 (8pm on ABC) all the contestants will dance to songs from Disney films. Somers is scheduled to perform to “He’s a Tramp” from Lady and the Tramp.
