On Bates Motel, White Pine Bay sheriff Alex Romero looks into two strange deaths in town. Ever since Norma Bates purchased the former Seafairer Motel, Romero has been suspicious of Bates and her son Norman.
Romeo is portrayed by Nestor Carbonell. He’s best known for his roles as Luis on Suddenly Susan with Brooke Shields, Richard on Lost, and Mayor Garcia in the films The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. He’s also starring as CIA Director Raymond Navaro in the NBC TV series State of Affairs with Katherine Heigl and Alfre Woodward. Carbonell isn’t just a good looking talented actor with incredibly dark eyelashes, he’s smart too. He earned a B.A. in English at Harvard in the late 1980s. Bates Motel airs Mondays at 9pm on A&E.
