On The Vampire Diaries, Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) learns some devastating news about his mother Lily. And he needs to tell his brother Stefan (Paul Wesley): she’s alive and stuck in a prison ward. Not much is known about Lily other than she supposedly died in 1858 of consumption. It’s not going to be easy to get out her out.
Lily is portrayed by actress Annie Wersching. She’s best known for her TV roles as Femi Dodd on Extant, Renee Walker on 24, Alison Jones on Dallas, and Amelia Joffe on General Hospital. When not on the set of The Vampire Diaries, she can be found filming episodes of Castle where she recently resurrected her role as Dr. Kelly Nieman. Or she’s on the set of the Amazon Original Series Bosch, where she plays rookie cop Julia Brasher.
