Almost all of the ladies on Real Housewives of Atlanta – with the exception of NeNe Leakes – go to Manila for a little R&R after their group therapy session with Dr. Jeff. The idea behind the trip is to prove that they can let “bygones be bygones.” Phaedra Parks should really get a Real Housewives medal after this trip.
While sharing a quiet meal with Phaedra, Claudia Jordan tries to bond with her. Claudia brings up her divorce and how difficult it was and asks Phaedra about her decision to divorce her incarcerated husband Apollo Nida. Phaedra doesn’t fall for the trap. She tells Claudia, “I’m not going to discuss that.” She didn’t say it in a mean way. She explained to Claudia that she’s a private person. She says she does talk to people about it, just those she knows will have her back. Phaedra mentions NeNe and Porsha. Claudia catches that Phaedra didn’t mention Kandi Burruss. (Another trap!) Phaedra says, “We’re good.”
