Singer Nick Fradiani has made it to American Idol’s Top 12. It was just two months ago when he auditioned in New York. He was there with his singer girlfriend Yanni G. Her performance of “The Cup Song” didn’t land her a golden ticket to Hollywood but she stayed on to support Nick while he sang “In Your Eyes” by Peter Gabriel.
Yanni G (aka Ariana Gavrilis) hasn’t given up on her singing career. She just launched a campaign to raise $3000 to produce her first EP. “I spent the past five years touring the east coast in a cover-band every weekend and I recently made the decision to focus on making my own original music. Now that the writing process is almost done, I am ready to pour my heart and soul into recording and I need your help!” So far she’s raised $1600. We’re hoping one of those anonymous donors was Nick!
