Wuthering High School is Lifetime’s modern take of Emily Brontë’s novel Wuthering Heights. The TV movie Wuthering High School is set in today’s Malibu, where the wealthy Earnshaw family adopts Heath (Andrew Jacobs), a troubled teen. Things get crazy when teenage Cathy Earnshaw (Paloma Kwiatkowski, Bates Motel), who’s struggling to cope with her mother’s death, falls for Heath which doesn’t please anyone in her privileged circle including her father (James Caan, The Godfather, Misery, Elf) and boyfriend Eddie (Matthew Boehm).
So wrapped up in love/lust is Cathy she doesn’t see the dangerous side of Heath “until it’s too late.” A good old fashioned story of obsession and revenge, Wuthering High School premieres March 14 at 8pm on Lifetime.
